As is only to be expected the Topham Chase is not an easy race to fathom out and Exit To Wave is only a tentative selection. Paul Nicholls¿ charge has always threatened to land a decent prize somewhere along the line, and he can end his connections two-year wait for another success with the gelding. He has some experience of the course, which will stand him in good stead, and he can expand upon his trainers record at the Festival. Macs Gildoran and Quality First are others who should be involved in the shake-up, whereas the improving Quality First appeals as an each way selection after a deserved victory over Mr Baxter Basics at Bangor last month.
