Dak Prescott has hailed Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers as one of NFL's "all-time greats".
On Sunday night, in a raucous AT&T Stadium, Rodgers produced yet another moment of magic, setting up a 51-yard, winning field goal for Mason Crosby to see off Dallas Cowboys and send his side into the NFC Championship game.
And while Prescott was disappointed he came off second best to the irrepressible Rodgers, the 23-year-old insisted he had no regrets over his or the Cowboys' performance.
"You take your hat off to Rodgers. He's one of the greatest quarterbacks to play this game. It was fun just watching him, I just hated that it had to be against me," Prescott said.
"He's done what he's done his whole career - he made plays. And he's great. I don't regret any play call we did, we gave ourselves the best chance to win."
With 20 seconds to play, Rodgers escaped the pocket and ran to the sidelines, before throwing a 36-yard dart to tight end Jared Cook. The catch was equally exceptional, but it was another example of Rodgers' elite skill, which he has demonstrated throughout the Packers' eight-game winning streak.
Prescott was also asked about his season, and relationship with fellow Cowboys QB Tony Romo. After breaking his back in pre-season, Romo lost his starting place to fourth-round rookie Prescott, and never regained the position.
Talk will inevitably turn to the veteran's future, having been linked with a number of organisations, but Prescott was thankful for the presence of Romo.
"I've taken stuff he's done, stuff he's told me," Prescott said. "Things he might not even know that I've taken from him. In every aspect of the game, on and off the field, he's been great and he means a lot to me.
"He's been so important throughout this entire season."
