Watch Brooks Koepka enjoy a huge slice of luck at the 18th as his ball cannons off the grandstand and rolls within inches of the hole for a simple birdie

Brooks Koepka produced a grandstand finish in more ways than one as he made a bizarre birdie to cap a dazzling final-round 63 at the BMW Championship.

Koepka stormed almost 40 places up the leaderboard and into the top 10 with a superb birdie blitz at Conway Farms, picking up five shots over the first seven holes and adding another three in four after the turn.

The US Open champion bogeyed 16 after a wild drive, and he was forced to play up at the par-five closing hole, leaving himself a flick with a wedge from around 80 yards for his third.

But he looked on anxiously as his ball flew the pin and landed on the back of the green, taking a big bounce towards the grandstand.

However, the bounce proved fortunate when his ball cannoned off the stand and back onto the putting surface before rolling to within inches of the cup for the easiest of closing birdies and a final score of 11 under which should ensure his place in the top 10 of the FedExCup standings heading into next week's Tour Championship.
