Ipswich Town have confirmed the loan signing of Toumani Diagouraga from Sky Bet Championship side Leeds United until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old began his career with Watford in 2014, taking loan spells with Swindon, Rotherham and Hereford, before joining the Bulls on a permanent basis.

Diagouraga then joined Peterborough in 2009 but moved to Brentford a year later where he made more than 200 appearances for the Bees and helped the side reach the Championship Play-Offs.

The midfielder departed Griffin Park for Leeds United in January 2016 and went on to make 20 appearances for the Whites, scoring three goals.

He last featured for the first team in the opening game of the season, in the 3-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
