Manchester City have unveiled their new home kit for the 2017/18 season.

The club have opted for a traditional round neck shirt in their customary sky blue to mark the 50-year anniversary of Joe Mercer's championship-winning side from the 1967/68 campaign.

The kit, which also features white shorts with sky blue trim and sky blue socks, sports not only the club's primary sponsor, Etihad, on the front of the shirt but also City's new sleeve sponsor, Nexen Tire, for Premier League games.

A statement on the club's website said: "Evoking memories of the kit that club legends Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Mike Summerbee wore with such distinction, the Nike Vapor kit is given a modern twist with its innovative Aeroswift technology.

"Pep Guardiola's men will benefit from a strip which enhances their performance, with a shirt and shorts that expand when moving to maximise ventilation and socks which feature Nike Grip technology for improved connection between foot and boot."
