Highlights of Kyle Edmund's encounter with Jack Sock from the Paris Masters

Kyle Edmund's season is over after he suffered a dramatic collapse against American Jack Sock at the Paris Masters.

The British No 3 was in prime position to advance to the last 16 of the final tournament of the regular season as he led 5-1 in the final set, with his opponent having received treatment for an injury.

But whatever the physio did to Sock worked a treat as he reeled off five games in a row, winning 20 out of 26 points, to eventually claim a 4-6 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-5) victory.

It was perhaps a fitting end to Edmund's 2017, which will be classed as a frustrating one, having seen plenty of wins against the world's best players get away in the final set.

This one will particularly hurt, given how certain for victory he seemed.

He had taken the opening set with the only break in the 10th game, claiming it 6-4, while Sock took it to a decider after sealing a second-set tiebreak.

Sock looked down and out in the third, a game away from defeat, but somehow got on a roll to claim the unlikeliest of victories to bring Edmund's 2017 to a close in disappointing fashion.
