Rafael Nadal will face Nick Kyrgios in a mouthwatering China Open final after both men won their semi-final on Saturday.

A stellar line-up in China in both the men's and women's events made for a memorable Saturday of action with Nadal against Dimitrov and Zverev against Kyrgios headlining the men's tournament.

World No 1 Nadal was first to book his place in Sunday's showpiece but needed more than two hours to register his 60th win of a memorable season that has also seen him claim two Masters titles and two more Grand Slam crowns.

And he was then joined in the final by Australian maverick Kyrgios who was at his very best to beat world no 3 Zverev with a 6-3 7-5 victory that sets up a fifth career meeting with Nadal.

Nick Kyrgios edged a 31-shot rally to setup a break point, which he managed to convert after Alexander Zverev double faulted and decided to take out his rage on his racket.

The pair have split the previous four, with Kyrgios famously winning their first meeting as a teenager at Wimbledon in 2014 and he also has bragging rights from the last match, a straight sets win in Cincinnati just a couple of weeks ago.

Nadal ran out a 6-3 4-6 6-1 winner over Dimitrov to reach his 110th career final and fourth in Beijing where he has twice before lost in the final to Novak Djokovic (2013 & 2015), only winning in 2005 where he beat Guillermo Coria.

In Toyko at the Japan Open, David Goffin will play France's Adrian Mannarino in Sunday's final after both men came through their semi-finals on Saturday.

The Frenchman has lost three previous 250 titles including in Antalya earlier this year where he was beaten by Japan's Yuicji Sugita.

His opponent on Sunday will be Belgium's fourth seed Goffin who is chasing back-to-back tournament victories having beaten Alexandr Dolgopolov to the title in Shenzhen last weekend.

And he extended his winning streak to eight matches with a 7-6 7-6 triumph over Diego Schwartzman that moves him into the eighth spot at the season-end World Tour Finals, as both Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka have ended their season through injury.

The Masters Series continues on Sky Sports on Monday with the Shanghai Masters on Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Main Event throughout the week
