Saracens have named Matt Stevens on the bench for the clash with Magners League side Scarlets on Saturday.
England prop Stevens played his first competitive game of rugby for two years on Monday after completing a suspension.
The former Bath forward was in action for just under an hour in a 39-29 win over Wasps' second string at Old Albanians in St Albans.
Now he looks set to make his first-team debut from the bench in LV= Cup action as Sarries make their first ever trip to Parc y Scarlets.
Alex Goode comes back into the side at fly-half, meaning Owen Farrell switches to the number 12 shirt to partner Rodd Penney, who rejoined the club during the week from Aironi, in the centres.
Mixed
Scarlets, who have won both previous meetings between the two sides in the competition, have gone with a side mixing youth with experience.
Front-rower Phil John takes the captain's armband with former Wales tighthead Rhys Thomas back from injury.
The Scarlets have opted for plenty of flair and creativity in the backs including Dan Evans at full-back, with Lee Williams and the powerful Joe Ajuwa on the wings.
Wales Under 20 fly-half Steven Shingler takes over in the number 10 jersey alongside experienced scrum-half Martin Roberts.
"We're really looking forward to this contest, there are some young players in this team that are eager to show what they can offer and in many ways it will be a showcase of the great potential we have in the region for the future," Scarlets head coach Nigel Davies said.
"These boys are itching to get out there in front of a home crowd at Parc y Scarlets and do justice to the Scarlets jersey."
