England centre Mathew Tait is looking to make up for "lost time" after he returned to the Sale squad for the first time this season.
Tait has been sidelined after undergoing knee surgery in the summer, however he is now fit to make his comeback.
And the 24-year-old can't wait to get going after being named in the side to face Petrarca in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

"The knee operation was to clean out some debris and I feel great now and can't wait to get a good run of games playing for Sale Sharks under my belt."
Paul Williams, Mark Cueto, Neil Briggs, Karena Wihongi, Nic Rouse and Carl Fearns also come into the Sale starting XV, with Nick MacLeod switching from full-back to centre.
