Bayonne move to 11th place in the standings, with Lionel Mazars and Abdellatif Boutaty crossing for tries. Cedric Garcia added 13 points from the boot, with Jacques-Louis Potgieter also on target with a penalty.
Former England winger Paul Sackey crossed for two tries for Stade, while Martin Rodriguez added two conversions and two penalties to clinch a losing bonus point.
Toulon put on an impressive display to smash Bordeaux-Begles 44-7 and move to third.
