New Bayonne coach Christian Gajan is set to use his first game in charge to assess his playing options ahead of more pressing matters in the league.
With Bayonne already out of the Amlin Challenge Cup, Gajan's focus is on avoiding the drop from the Top 14.
And he has named a fairly strong side to face French rivals Racing Metro with Craig Gower, Pepito Elhorga and Denis Avril all picked.
The Parisians still have a mathematical chance of qualifying, but they have opted to rest a number of their key players, with Jonathan Wisniewski, Francois Steyn and Johnny Leo'o moving to the bench.
