Bath have named Andy Beattie as captain for the LV= Cup clash with Newcastle.
Bath have shuffled their line-up for the Anglo-Welsh tournament, with only Nick Abendanon, Olly Barkley, Tom Biggs and Ben Skirving retaining their places in the side following the defeat to Biarritz.
Rising stars Ted Stagg, Kane Palma Newport, Paul Roberts and Nick Scott are included on the bench.
Newcastle head coach Alan Tait is set to hand giant Kiwi lock Andrew Van der Heijden his long-awaited debut off the bench.
The 26-year-old suffered a broken arm shortly after signing a two-year deal at Kingston Park.
But Van der Heijden is named among the replacements, with head coach Alan Tait naming a strong squad for the clash.
Euan Murray, Ally Hogg, Tim Swinson and Mark Wilson are among those returning to the Falcons line-up.
