Super League leaders Wigan expect to have full-back Cameron Phelps back from a leg injury for the visit of Wakefield, as they bid to build on a storming start to Super League XV.
George Carmont is doubtful after hurting his leg in the win over St Helens and with Mark Riddell and Andy Coley still sidelined, Liam Farrell could make his debut.
Wakefield centre Sean Gleeson, cousin of Wigan's Martin, and second rower Dale Ferguson are both expected to be recalled after sitting out Friday's derby win over Castleford.
Wakefield coach John Kear says his team will be getting to grips with Wigan's so-called "wrestling" tactics as they seek to repeat last year's win at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors have established a reputation for being able to dominate the ruck under new Australian coach Michael Maguire, but Kear insists his side will be up for the challenge against the league leaders.
"It is a tough one but they will think it is tough as well playing us," he said. "I have seen a lot of Wigan - they are a good team - I am into WWE as well!"
