Wigan are looking to end of run of three successive Super League defeats and are able to name Cameron Phelps and Gareth Hock in the initial 19-man squad.
Phelps should return from a hamstring injury while Hock faces a late fitness test after picking up a knock in last week's defeat to St Helens.
George Carmont is in the squad but is thought unlikely to be fit for match-day, while Harrison Hansen is also missing with a dead leg.
However, Phil Bailey (ankle) and Joel Tomkins (head) have overcome knocks from Monday's defeat at Catalans.
Crusaders are again without captain Jace van Dijk and full-back Tony Duggan (ankle) is not yet fit to return.
Matty Smith, Geraint Davies and Mark Lennon also remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.
Lincoln Withers is back in contention after a knee injury and Damien Quinn becomes the first player to reach 100 Crusaders appearances.

Celtic Crusaders squad: Beasley, Blackwood, Bryant, Budworth, Chalk, Chan, Dalle Cort, Dyer, Flower, Hannay, A. James, J. James, Lupton, O'Hara, Peek, Quinn, Tangata-Toa, Mapp, Withers.
