Warrington have slipped out of the top eight after winning just one of their last five matches, and face a Wakefield side in a similar position on the brink of the play-offs.
Assistant coach James Lowes says the match will be like 'a cup final' and that the Wolves will probably need to win their three remaining games to reach the post-season.
"We've put ourselves in that situation now where we need the points," said Lowes. "We are a bit reliant on other results as well but the only thing we can do is collect the points and every game is now a cup final for us.
"It was going to be tough against Wakefield anyway but even more so with them looking to come here and secure their spot."
Prop Garreth Carvell, hooker Jon Clarke and centre Simon Grix are all set to return for Wolves after missing last week's 36-16 defeat at Wigan.
Tyrone McCarthy keeps his place after making an encouraging debut, along with recalled duo Kevin Penny and Steve Pickersgill.
Ben Harrison, Chris Hicks, Mickey Higham, Matt King and Paul Wood remain sidelined.
Wakefield are without the banned Danny Brough while captain Jason Demetriou is out with a viral infection and prop Ricky Bibey (shoulder) is also sidelined through injury.
Forward Frank Winterstein is poised to return from a fractured jaw while Dale Ferguson is back from illness and second rower Steve Snitch is in contention after recovering from a hamstring strain.
