Warrington will be hampered by the absence of three England internationals in their clash with Hull KR.
Adrian Morley, Ben Westwood and Chris Bridge have all been included in Steve McNamara's squad to take on France on Saturday.
More positive news comes in the form of Paul Wood's recovery from a shoulder injury, with the 28-year-old likely replace Morley at prop.
Michael Monaghan takes over the captaincy from Morley while Simon Grix will switch to stand-off to fill in for Bridge.
Young forward Tyrone McCarthy has been brought back from Leigh and is set to make his second appearance of the season for the Wolves.
Hull KR will be celebrating their 100th Super League game on Friday night and hope to mark the occasion with an upset victory.
Unchanged
The Robins are not blighted by the same problems as the hosts and name an unchanged squad, although Mike Ratu is ready to replace Jake Webster at centre should the latter's hip injury rule him out.
Full-back Shaun Briscoe is looking to take the momentum from last Sunday's 24-6 win over Catalans Dragons into the contest.
"Last Sunday was a step in the right direction and our defensive performance was really good," he told Hull KR's official website.
"It's going to be tough at Warrington and we're going to a side that's sitting up there near the top of the league.
"They're missing three players in Adrian Morley, Chris Bridge and Ben Westwood but they've still got players who can come in and do a job.
"But we believe we can beat anyone on our day. It's a case of us putting in the performance ourselves.
"We can't go over there thinking: 'Oh well, we'll be lucky' or things like that, we've got to go there thinking we can definitely get a win.
"We've got to be positive. We've got to be confident and we've got to look for consistency."

Hull KR squad: Briscoe, Fox, Welham, Webster, Cockayne, Clinton, Dobson, Vella, Hodgson, Wheeldon, Newton, Galea, Ratu, Netherton, Watts, Cook, Fisher, Murrell, Lovegrove.
