Australian centre Matt King is back in Warrington's squad for the visit of Les Catalans on Sunday.
The NRL Grand Final winner has returned from a calf injury, which put him out of the win at Hull Kingston Rovers last time out.
King is one of four changes made by Paul Cullen as he looks to build on Wolves' solid start to the season so far.
Warrington have only been lost away at St Helens up to this point and look set to be real contenders for the play-offs this season.
Full back Stuart Reardon and prop Paul Wood are back from injury, while Steve Pickersgill also comes into the squad.
Simon Grix, Ben Harrison, Mike Cooper and Lee Mitchell all drop out as Cullen looks to solidify his side.
Warrington edged to a 22-18 victory over the Dragons in the corresponding fixture last season, but were turned over twice in Perpignan.
Double blow
Catalans Dragons have been hit by a double injury blow concerning Casey McGuire and Dane Carlaw.
McGuire sustained a fractured cheekbone from a clash of heads with Leeds forward Ali Lauitiiti during last Friday's 34-6 defeat at Headingley.
The Queensland-born scrum-half will undergo surgery on Friday and faces between six and eight weeks on the sidelines.
Second rower Carlaw is also set for a six-week spell out after damaging his rib cartilage in the same match.
With prop Mathieu Griffi (ankle) and Oliver Elima (knee) also injured and David Ferriol suspended for two games, the Dragons will take a depleted squad to Warrington on Sunday.
Despite being named in the initial squad, Jason Croker and Cyril Gossard are not certain to be fit to play at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Difficult
"It's making it very difficult," said coach Mick Potter, who has been forced to draw on resources at the club's feeder club UTC to fill his 20-man squad.
Florian Quintilla, a teenage back rower, could make his Super League debut, while Julien Touxagos - released at the end of the 2007 season - has also been drafted in.
Thomas Bosc is set to switch to scrum-half, with Adam Mogg moving from centre to stand-off and Justin Murphy coming for his first appearance of the season.
