Warrington coach James Lowes is backing his players to come good despite a poor start to the Super League campaign.
The Wolves have lost both their matches and forfeited big leads in the process - they were 14-0 up against St Helens before losing 26-14 and 18-6 ahead against Catalans before going down 40-20.
Lowes was fuming following the loss to the French outfit, saying under-performing players would be cut from the team, but will give them another chance to prove themselves at Wakefield on Friday.
"We're two games into the competition," he said. "You don't drop someone on the strength of one or two games.
Working hard
"I'm still confident in our own ability as a team and I'm confident we can be in the right place at the end of the year. We're working very hard to achieve that.
"If you believe what you are doing is correct, eventually if you keep working hard at it, things will come good."
Lowes will be without Ben Westwood, who starts a five-match ban, and Garreth Carvell, who is nursing a knee injury, for the trip to Belle Vue.
Adrian Morley faces a 'head test' before the match after taking a heavy blow against the Dragons, but is expected to take his place in the starting line-up.
Hooker Jon Clarke has been included in Lowes' 19-man squad after completing his recovery from a broken arm, along with Lee Mitchell, Steve Pickersgill and Simon Grix.
Wakefield expect to have Sam Obst back to take Scott Grix's place at scrum-half and coach John Kear has added Danny Sculthorpe and Luke George to his initial squad.
Warrington 19-man squad: Gleeson, King, Briers, Monaghan, Morley, Clarke, Rauhihi, L Anderson, V Anderson, Higham, Wood, Pickersgill, Riley, Grix, Blythe, Mitchell, Hicks, Harrison, Bridge.
Wakefield 19-man squad: Blaymire, Blanch, Martin, Atkins, Demetriou, Drew, Sculthorpe, Snitch, Wilkes, Obst, Stosic, Bibey, Henderson, Gleeson, Halley, Ferguson, George, Bibb, Pitts
