Wakefield will again have to cope without influential half-back Sam Obst for the visit of Hull FC on Saturday.
Obst failed a fitness test on an ankle injury ahead of last Sunday's clash with Hull KR and has not recovered in time for the contest at Belle Vue.
However, the Wildcats have received a boost after scans on an Aaron Murphy's thumb injury revealed no fracture - meaning the England hopeful cab take his place in John Kear's 19-man squad.
Stand-off Paul Cooke and prop Paul King are both likely to be in the starting line-up against their former club.
Hull FC head coach Richard Agar has made one change in his 19-man squad for the contest, with stand-off Richard Horne making a return from an injury lay-off.
Recovery
Horne has recovered from a knee problem to take the place of Liam Kent with the rest of the squad that secured a 28-22 victory over Bradford unchanged.
Winger Mark Calderwood will be looking for a fourth appearance of the season after recovering from a hamstring tear.
Sam Moa and Mark O'Meley, who are both currently ruled out with calf injuries, do not figure in the squad.
The Black and Whites are enjoying a rich vein of form, having secured victory in six of their last seven engage Super League games.
But full-back Jordan Tansey still thinks that Hull, who are currently lying fourth in the table, have plenty of room for improvement.
"We know it is going to be a tough game and we know we need to perform for the full 80 minutes which we have struggled with recently, but if we can stick to our game plan and perform we will be there," he told the club's official website.
"We know we have a lot to improve on and haven't performed as well as we can, but we are still sitting in fourth.
"We have a lot to work on, but when we get it right we know how strong we can be and we know we can deliver that this season."
Wakefield squad: Blaymire, Blanch, Gleeson, Millard, Jeffries, Korkidas, Morrison, Demetriou, Johnson, Henderson, Murphy, King, Leo-Latu, Cooke, Morton, Davey, Moore, Leaeno, Rinaldi.
Hull FC squad: Tansey, Calderwood, T. Briscoe, Whiting, Turner, Yeaman, Hall, Horne, Washbrook, Berrigan, Houghton, Dowes, Cusack, Radford, Lauaki, Burnett, Manu, Tickle, Fitzgibbon.
