Danny Brough and Tevita Leo-Latu will make their first appearances of the season for Wakefield Wildcats in Sunday's engage Super League match against Catalans Dragons.
But the pair's return to fitness is tempered by the news that prop Jason Stosic has been ruled out for three months with a knee injury.
Stosic, the club's close-season signing from Gold Coast Titans, injured his posterior cruciate ligament in the win against Warrington on February 27.
The Wildcats have been without up to 10 members of their first-team squad because of injury and illness so far this year and coach John Kear was forced to play two part-timers against Hull KR last Sunday.
February's Super League player of the month Brad Drew is the latest casualty - he is facing a fortnight out with a shoulder injury.
The Wildcats are still without Scott Grix, Sam Obst, Matt Petersen, Jamie Rooney, Cain Southernwood and Luke George through injury as well as Richard Moore, who has at least resumed light training after being diagnosed with Chron's Disease.
Catalans Dragons are without Jason Croker, who has a groin tear, and new signing Greg Bird, who has flown back to Australia for a court appearance.
Frenchmen Julien Touxagas, Vincent Duport and Cyril Gossard have been called up to plug the gaps.
Wakefield squad: Blaymire, Blanch, Martin, Atkins, Brough, Demetriou, Sculthorpe, Snitch, Wilkes, Bibey, Henderson, Gleeson, Leo-Latu, Halley, Ferguson, Murphy, Bibb, Pitts, Davey
Catalans Dragons squad: Baile, Bell, Bosc, Bird, Casty, Croker, Elima, Fakir, Ferriol, Gossard, Greenshields, Guisset, McGuire, Mogg, Mounis, Pelo, Perry, Stacul, Touxagas
