Wakefield and Bradford are both set to welcome back key players for Friday night's Yorkshire derby at the Hearwell Stadium.
Refreshed after a weekend off due to their early exit from the Carnegie Challenge Cup, the Wildcats have Paul Cooke named in their 19-man squad.
The stand-off has managed to shake off a hamstring tear that ruled him out of his side's 34-30 loss to Leeds during Magic Weekend at Murrayfield.
However Wildcats coach John Kear is still unable to call upon full-back Matt Blaymire and Australian centre Daryl Millard.
Glenn Morrison is also sidelined, meaning the forward will not get the chance to go up against his former team-mates in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Orford out
Bradford make the short journey to Wakefield without influential scrum-half Matt Orford.
The Australian suffered a shoulder injury during the 19-0 Magic Weekend loss to Crusaders in the Scottish capital and although a scan has revealed no major damage, coach Steve McNamara is taking no risks.

The vice-captain replaces Cain Southernwood in McNamara's 19-man party as they look to bounce back to winning ways in the engage Super League.
The Bulls did triumph their last outing, though, seeing off Leigh 58-16 to seal their place in the quarter-finals of this year's Challenge Cup.
