Salford welcome back Richie Myler as they look to end a four-game losing run when they host Wigan on Friday night.
Scrum-half Myler has recovered from a hand injury to take his place in coach Shaun McRae's 19-man squad.
His return means former Wigan player Andrew Thornley misses out on playing against his old club despite making a try-scoring debut last time out.
The winger crossed for a late consolation score for the City Reds in their 38-12 loss to St Helens at the GPW Recruitment Stadium.
Ian Sibbit, who this week avoided a drugs ban, is available again after injury while Lee Jewitt is also back having previously been laid low by illness.
Bouncebackability
Wigan make the trip to The Willows looking to bounce back from the 34-10 defeat they suffered at the hands of Leeds last Friday.
Coach Brian Noble has reacted to the heavy loss at Headingley Carnegie by dropping winger Amos Roberts to the reserves.
The move means Karl Pryce is poised to make just his second appearance for the club having played earlier this season against Castleford.
An ankle injury forced the former Bradford player to miss the last three games but he is included in the 19-man party.
Prop Paul Prescott is also in contention for his first Super League outing of
the season.
