Warrington will have to do without eight key players for their 'must-win' trip to the Willows on Friday.
Forward Rob Parker and hooker Mark Gleeson are the latest casualties on a growing injury list for the Wolves after they were both hurt in the 36-16 defeat to St Helens last weekend.
Parker suffered a fractured cheekbone while Gleeson dislocated an elbow and both are definitely ruled out of the crunch clash against the Reds.
They join Paul Wood, Paul Johnson, Stuart Reardon, Mike Sullivan and Mike Cooper on the sidelines - who are all ruled out for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, influential forward Adrian Morley is suspended for the match after being sent off against Saints for a high tackle. His appeal against the decision was refused by the RFL disciplinary committee.
Brighter news for the visitors is that Vinnie Anderson and Simon Grix could be available for selection after missing the Saints fixture through injury.
The duo are recovering from back and ankle injuries respectively and are facing a race to be fit in time.
Salford on the other hand have no fresh injury worries of their own and are expected to name the same team that lost narrowly to Harlequins in their last outing.
The Reds have very little to play for as they prepare for life in National League One next season but will be determined to go down fighting and restore some pride back into city.
Warrington must win and hope Wigan slip up against St Helens in order to make the play-offs.
