Sky Sports caught up with some of Castleford's staff and supporters following their historic League Leaders' Shield success

The Castleford class of 2017 earned their place in history on Thursday as they became the first group in the 91-year history of the club to finish top of the standings and clinch the League Leaders' Shield.

Another wonderful performance at home to Wakefield at the Mend-A-Hose-Jungle saw the Tigers pull away from Trinity and ultimately record a sensational 45-20 victory.

Four tries from Jake Webster in front of a raucous, near-capacity 11,235 crowd at the Jungle enabled Castleford to get their hands on the elusive trophy with four games to spare.
