Castleford captain Luke Gale joined Jon Wells at the touchscreen after the Tigers' thrilling late victory over Leeds.
Cas raced into a 12-0 lead thanks to tries from Andy Lynch and Jake Webster but found themselves trailing at the interval after Leeds replied with 14 unanswered points.
The second half was a tense affair as both sides squandered scoring chances but Gale ensured Cas would snap a three-game losing streak when his pass put over Webster for his second try.
