Rangi Chase has signed a two-year permanent deal with Widnes Vikings, who have also secured Danny Walker on a new four-year deal.
Former Man of Steel and England international Chase, joined the Vikings on loan in May and has since made five influential appearances for the Super League team.
Exciting teenager Walker's deal is the longest Widnes have ever handed out, coming after playing six times since his Super League debut back in March.
Vikings head coach Denis Betts said: "Both of these deals represent a real statement of intent by the Vikings, with two outstanding talents committing their futures to the club.
"Rangi has made a big impact since his arrival, contributing well both on and off the field.
"He has exceptional abilities and, as an international standard half-back, adds real quality to the team. We have seen in recent results the benefits of his skill and experience on the field. To permanently secure a player of his abilities is a sign of the club's ambition.
"Danny is one of the most promising young players in the Super League. His commitment to a four-year contract shows his belief in what we are building at the Vikings.
"We believe that Danny will be a big part of our future and I am pleased that he shares our ambitions by committing to this contract."
