Salford have signed York City Knights hooker Kriss Brining.
The 21-year-old has been given the chance to step up to Super League after scoring 22 tries in 26 appearances for the Knights in Kingstone Press League 1 this year.
Red Devils coach Ian Watson said: "We've got a really exciting young talent in Kris.
"He's been fantastic for York, getting on the front foot and being a real positive impact. We think he's ready to make the next step into Super League and be a positive influence here as well. "
Brining is Watson's third signing for 2017, with prop Lama Tasi returning to the AJ Bell Stadium from St Helens and fellow front rower Daniel Murray making the move from Warrington.
