Punches were thrown during Leigh's 30-0 whitewashing of Huddersfield on Friday night.
Tempers boiled over during the first half at Leigh Sports Village following a tackle by Huddersfield's Sebastine Ikahihifo on Centurions skipper Micky Higham.
Both sides were reduced to 12 men with a quarter of the game remaining when Ikahihifo was guilty of hitting out at Pelissier, with Leigh forward Jamie Acton also sent to the sin bin for getting involved in the aftermath.
The incidents failed to overshadow a fantastic night for Leigh, who ran in five unanswered tries for their second Betfred Super League victory of the season.
The win means Leigh have already won as many games as they did in the entire 2005 season, their last in the top flight.
Half-back Ben Reynolds scored a try and kicked five goals while it was an unhappy first return to the Sports Village for Huddersfield half-back Ryan Brierley, who scored 133 tries for the Centurions before moving to the Giants.
