Catalans' assistant coach Michael Monaghan joined Jon Wells to analyse the Dragons' 20-18 Super League defeat at Warrington Wolves on Friday night

A late penalty from Kurt Gidley earned Warrington a slender 20-18 victory in a tense battle with fellow First Utility Super League challengers Catalans Dragons.

There was little to separate the sides throughout the match at the Halliwell Jones Stadium but Gidley's second penalty in quick succession proved to be the killer blow to down the Dragons.

It was the Dragons who led 16-10 at half-time after tries from Julian Bousquet and Fouad Yaha, Warrington's efforts coming through Ryan Atkins and Kevin Penny. The Wolves replied after the break through Brad Dwyer before the boot of Gidley sealed the victory.
