On the fifth episode of Super League Golden Point, Brian Carney is joined by Phil Clarke and Jon Wells to discuss Thomas Minns, the demise of Huddersfield and Catalans and look at the best hookers of the Super League era.
News broke this week that Hull KR centre Thomas Minns has tested positive for a banned, non-performance-enhancing substance, and has been placed on extended leave. The boys look closely at the situation.
Elsewhere on the show, the team look at the fall of the Huddersfield Giants and Catalans Dragons from promising clubs progressing nicely, to Super League strugglers. What has happened?
And Clarke, Carney and Wells also take a look at their picks for the greatest hookers of the Super League era!
Super League for this week also kicked off last night as Leeds lost out to a late drop goal for the second week running as Marc Sneyd's one-pointer earned Hull FC a 19-18 victory.
On Friday night, the Wigan Warriors take on Castleford, live on Sky Sports Arena from 7.30pm, while we also have two offerings from the NRL to tune into on Saturday as Wests Tigers take on Newcastle from 8.30am and North Queensland face the Gold Coast Titans Eels from 10.30am.
