Australia centre Greg Inglis has admitted himself into a mental health clinic, South Sydney have revealed.
The 30-year-old Rabbitohs captain and Australia international entered the facility last week, the club said in a statement on Wednesday morning.
Inglis was ruled out for almost the full 2017 NRL season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in South Sydney's 34-18 opening-round loss against Wests Tigers.
"Rabbitohs captain Inglis has entered a mental health rehabilitation facility," the statement read.
"Inglis entered the facility last week and will be undergoing a series of programs and treatments to assist with his mental health.
"The Rabbitohs, Greg and his management will not be making any further comment at this stage, and we ask the media to respect the privacy of both Greg and his family at this time."
