Warrington Wolves will be without England stand-off Kevin Brown for the visit of Leeds Rhinos on Friday, live on Sky Sports.

The former Widnes captain has failed to recover from a head knock sustained in the Wolves' 22-22 draw with Hull on Saturday and is replaced in the side by Dec Patton, who was dropped after appearing in the team's first four games of the season.

"Under the concussion rule, he can't play for seven days," Warrington coach Tony Smith said. "Kev's welfare is first and foremost but it shows the difference between playing Friday to Friday.

"So Dec will come back into the squad. He's made some improvement, there are still areas he needs to work on and that's the challenge for him. And he knows it, he's a great kid and he's determined to get it right. He's now got that opportunity."

Warrington will also have winger Tom Lineham available after completing a two-match ban.
