Leeds continued their late-season revival with a 18-16 win over second-placed Wigan Warriors at Headingley on Friday evening.

The victory saw Leeds complete back-to-back victories over the Super League's top two, following their 20-15 triumph over Hull FC seven days previously.

Last season's treble winners stormed into an 18-4 lead after 65 minutes thanks to tries from Kallum Watkins, Adam Cuthbertson and Brett Ferres. However, they were forced to withstand a late rally from the Warriors, who scored through Jack Higginson and George Williams.

The win lifts the Rhinos off the bottom of the Super League table while Wigan remain in second behind Hull on points difference.
