Harlequins are likely to throw loan signing David Mills straight into their team to face Castleford on Sunday.
Prop Mills is in his second spell with the capital club after returning to the Twickenham Stoop on loan from Super League rivals Hull KR.
His arrival helps offset the loss of front-row pair Danny Ward and Ben Jones, who are sidelined with leg and arm injuries respectively.
Having been ineligible to play in last week's Carnegie Challenge Cup loss to St Helens, winger Kevin Penny is back in the 19-man squad.
The winger's availability means Tony Clubb can switch to the centres with skipper Rob Purdham moving back into the pack.
Quins have won their last three league outings to climb off the foot of the table and will be out for revenge having lost 48-0 at home to the Tigers last year.
Meanwhile, Castleford welcome back second-rowers Brett Ferres and Dean Widders after lengthy spells out of action for both players.
Ferres has been sidelined with a shoulder injury for the last two months while Widders underwent knee surgery after the second match of the season.
However the Tigers are without prop Paul Jackson, as they bid for a third straight victory following positives results against Salford and Catalans Dragons in their last two outings.
Harlequins squad: Clubb, Dorn, Esders, Gale, Howell, Mills, May, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Melling, O'Callaghan, Orr, Purdham, Randall, Sharp, Temata, Penny, Wilkes, Williams, Williamson.
Castleford squad: Dixon, Evans, Wainwright, Chase, Sherwin, Sargent, Hudson, Huby, Ferres, Snitch, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Clayton, Thompson, McGoldrick, Widders, Holmes, Tuson.
