Hull will be hoping to bounce back from their derby disappointment when they host Super League leaders Leeds on Easter Monday.
A late James Webster drop goal consigned the Airlie Birds to an 11-10 loss to city rivals Hull KR on Friday.
As if the narrow defeat at Craven Park wasn't bad enough, coach Peter Sharp saw another key player pick up an injury.
Australian winger Matt Sing broke his hand against the Robins and is not named in the 19-man squad to face the Rhinos.
Graeme Horne is included by Sharp but is considered doubtful due to an ankle injury.
Key duo Richard Horne and Willie Manu are still sidelined but both are nearing a return to action.
Hull find themselves second from bottom in the table with only four points to their name, although their only two wins have come on home soil.
In-form Rhinos
While their opponents may be struggling for form Leeds head to the KC Stadium full of confidence.
The defending champions hammered the injury-hit Bradford Bulls 44-2 at Headingley Carnegie.
That result followed on from a 48-0 success against Harlequins the week before, meaning Brian McClennan's side have conceded just two points since their shock loss at Castleford.
They could have Danny McGuire back at stand-off as the Great Britain international is included in the squad for the first time since injuring his shoulder in the World Club Challenge.
Ryan Bailey also returns after missing the Bradford game due to a groin problem.
Hull FC squad: Berrigan, Byrne, Burnett, Cusack, Dykes, Fellous, Hall, G. Horne, Houghton, King, Lee, Radford, Raynor, Sing, Tickle, Tony, Washbrook, Wheeldon, Yeaman.
Leeds squad: Webb, Donald, Senior, Smith, McGuire, Burrow, Diskin, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ellis, Sinfield, Lauitiiti, Bailey, Scruton, Ablett, Tansey, Hall, Burgess, Worrall.
