Hull KR winger Liam Colbon is set to make his long-awaited return to action in Thursday night's derby against Hull FC at the KC Stadium.
The former Wigan player has been sidelined for four months with a fractured jaw and a knee injury but was named in Justin Morgan's 19-man squad.
"Liam has worked really hard in training and is pushing strongly for a place but there are a few things to take into consideration before we finalise our plans," said Morgan.
Rovers are still without centre Kris Welham so loan signing Josh Charnley is set to keep his place after making a promising debut in last Friday's 25-6 win over Leeds.
One change
Hull coach Richard Agar makes just one change to the side that lost at Wakefield, with Tongan prop Sam Moa returning after a two-match absence with a calf injury.
Mark Calderwood could also come into contention for a place in the team after proving his fitness in two appearances for the under 20's.
The former Leeds and Wigan winger has been hampered this season by a hamstring injury.
The Airlie Birds will be looking to do the double over their fierce city rivals having won the first derby of the season 18-14 at New Craven Park.
