Hull coach Richard Agar has included stand-off Danny Washbrook and new signing Jordan Turner in his 19-man squad to face Huddersfield Giants.
Both teams head into Friday night's match on a high having recorded impressive season-opening Super League victories.
The Black and Whites shocked St Helens 32-12 in the North West fog, while Giants kicked off their campaign with a 24-12 home triumph over West Yorkshire neighbours Bradford Bulls.
Despite Agar's inclusion of Washbrook and Turner, the Hull boss is expected to keep faith with the same team that won so impressively at Knowsley Road.
Captain Sean Long, Mark O'Meley and Craig Fitzgibbon will all make their home debuts as a result - winger Mark Calderwood is the only injury absentee.
Huddersfield have brought in young forward Larne Patrick to plug the gap created by the injury to prop Keith Mason.
Centre Paul Whatuira and winger-turned-forward Martin Aspinwall are also hoping for a call-up after sitting out the opening win over Bradford.
Graeme Horne faces his old team-mates, including older brother Richard.
