Lee Radford has made one change to his Hull FC squad for Sunday’s Super League game against Castleford at the KC Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
Richard Whiting returns and could make his first appearance since the Challenge Cup defeat to Leeds Rhinos last month.
Gareth Ellis, who was named as a late entry into the side that beat Wakefield last weekend after originally missing out on the 19-man squad through a suspected injury, is also included.
Mickey Paea is missing after picking up a two-match suspension for a tackle on Wakefield’s Danny Washbrook last weekend.
Fellow front-rower Iafeta Palea’aesina is injured along with Kirk Yeaman, while Setaimata Sa also misses out after picking up a knock.
Castleford have made one change to the squad that beat Widnes last weekend as Ashley Gibson returns in place of the injured Nathan Massey.
“Nathan’s ankle injury will keep him out for around three weeks, but it’s not as bad as it could have been," said coach Daryl Powell.
"He’ll be right for the Super 8s which will be great for us. It’s disappointing for him as he’s been going well for us but there’s still plenty of the season left when he comes back."
