Luke O'Donnell is set to make a return from injury for the Giants' Super League clash with Leeds on Sunday.
O'Donnell has been named in head coach Paul Anderson's 19-man squad as Huddersfield prepare to play host to their West Yorkshire rivals at the John Smith's Stadium.
The Australian lock is included alongside Jermaine McGillvary, David Faiumu and Dale Ferguson who replace Greg Eden, Tommy Lee, Matty Sarsfield and Jamie Cording.
Hooker Liam Hood, who has been playing for Dewsbury as part of a dual registration deal, is set to make his first appearance for the Rhinos since March.
The 20-year-old made four appearances earlier this season, touching down in his first three games, but has not featured in the first team since their defeat to the Giants at Headingley.
Hood replaces Shaun Lunt, who is unable to play as a result of the loan deal that took him from Huddersfield to Leeds for the season.
Former Huddersfield player Darrell Griffin however, who joined the Rhinos last winter, has been named in Brian McDermott's 19 man squad.
Huddersfield: Grix, Lawrence, Cudjoe, McGillvary, Brough, Crabtree, Robinson, Mason, O'Donnell, Fa'alogo, Faiumu, Patrick, Ferguson, Wardle, Chan, George, Murphy, Moore, Ferres.
Leeds: Jones-Bishop, Watkins, Hardaker, Hall, Burrow, Leuluai, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Sinfield, Delaney, Bailey, Kirke, Clarkson, Hauraki, Griffin, Hood, Ward, Keinhorst.
