Huddersfield Giants are looking to win their third engage Super League match in a row when Catalans Dragons visit on Sunday.
The Dragons arrive at the Galpharm Stadium full of confidence having beaten Wigan Warriors in last Sunday's Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final.
"It could work one of two ways," said Huddersfield coach Jon Sharp.
"They might not be able to handle the emotion of last week and suffer as a result, or on the other hand it could give them a great deal of confidence.
"However we're only focusing on what the Giants can do, and our last two performances are indicators of how we want to finish the season."
Giants forward Chris Nero looks set to continue playing through the pain of a groin problem, which has affected him for months.
Paul Reilly, Paul Jackson and Stuart Jones are back in contention, but Sharp is unlikely to change a winning side.
Catalans Dragons coach Mick Potter wants to see focus from his side after just one win in seven Super League games.
"The guys were very happy with what they achieved against Wigan. It had been a long time after losing three," Potter said.
"But we had a training session on Monday and got back into a routine. We have settled down now and can concentrate on Huddersfield.
"We need to carry it on and build the momentum. We have still only had one win in a month."
Potter has no fresh injuries to contend with and could name the same side that beat Wigan for the trip to the Galpharm.
