Castleford second rower Awen Guttenbeil returns for the visit of Saints after missing the last two matches with a shoulder strain, while winger Stuart Donlan has an outside chance of returning.
But - as expected - Olympic sprinter Dwain Chambers is not in the Tigers squad after just a week of rugby league training, while prop Mark Leafa is facing two months on the sidelines after breaking an arm in last week's defeat at Bradford.
St Helens have suffered two more major injury blows with the loss of Great Britain forwards James Graham and Lee Gilmour.
Prop forward Graham is facing a lay-off of up to six weeks with a torn calf muscle while second rower Gilmour will be sidelined for a month with an ankle injury.
Both players will lose their ever-present record this season when Saints travel to the Jungle. Veteran Great Britain internationals Paul Sculthorpe and Keiron Cunningham are also injured.
Castleford squad: Dorn, Donlan, Shenton, Dixon, Wainwright, Thackeray, Sherwin, Leafa, Henderson, Korkidas, Guttenbeil, Clayton, Westerman, Higgins, Huby, Lupton, Boyle, Haberecht, Moore, Owen, McGoldrick.
St Helens squad: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Talau, Meli, Pryce, Long, Cayless, Wilkin, Roby, Bennett, Flannery, Hargreaves, Clough, Tyrer, Fa'asavalu, Eastmond, Wheeler, Frodsham.
