Castleford will give a home debut to Australian Ned Catic when they entertain Bradford on Sunday.
The second-rower made his first appearance for his new club against former employers Wakefield at Millennium Magic, a match which the Tigers lost 54-16.
Coach Terry Matterson has had an extra week to prepare his side following a performance in Cardiff that he described as "diabolical".
An exit at the hands of Super League rivals Harlequins means Castleford were not in Carnegie Challenge Cup action last weekend.
Michael Wainwright, Ryan Boyle, Brendon Hlad and Adam Fletcher are all in contention for a recall after being included in a 19-man squad.
However Ryan Clayton picked up a calf problem against Wakefield and Peter Lupton is also ruled out with a facial injury.
Mark Leafa is a long-term absentee for Cas while Matt Cook is not allowed to play as part of his loan deal from the Bulls.
Hape hurt
Bradford will be without New Zealand centre Shontayne Hape for their trip to the Jungle due to a knee injury.
Former Castleford hooker Wayne Godwin is also denied the chance to go up against one of his former teams because of a groin strain.
There is better news for coach Steve McNamara concerning Ben Jeffries and James Evans, with both available again after missing the Challenge Cup victory over Les Catalans.
Craig Kopzak is also included in the squad after being cup tied last time out.
The Bulls ran riot when the two teams met earlier in the season, Semi Tadulala scoring a hat-trick in a 50-4 win.
Castleford squad: Dorn, Donlan, Shenton, Dixon, Wainwright, Sherwin, Henderson, Korkidas, Guttenbeil, Westerman, Higgins, Huby, Boyle, Moore, Owen, McGoldrick, Hlad, Catic, Fletcher.
Bradford squad: Tadulala, Langley, Halley, James, Sykes, Newton, Harris, Lynch, Evans, Platt, Solomona, Kopczak, Burgess, Deacon, Jeffries, Tupou, Finnigan, Morrison, Nero.
