In depth

Verdict

Heavy going is an unknown for all of these novices. ANGELS LANDING has never won on Turf but has gone close a few times. She was second on soft going at Ludlow just over a year ago and might be a bit of value in this. Groom De Cotte has run here three times and only placed once but that was on his latest visit, though Non Stop and Gwennie May Boy are less exposed. Joe Tizzard’s four-year-old won here on his hurdling debut while a talented amateur takes 7lb off the top weight.
