Verdict

Nothing looks strong so a final chance to FERGAL MAEL DUIN. He is clearly not straightforward, has both tongue tie and blinkers on and despite unappealing form figures has been travelling well in two of his last three starts before failing to complete. Hopefully, Paddy Brennan can finesse him into a clear round and land the spoils. Laura Morgan has enjoyed a really good season and course winner Ulis De Vassy looks a threat as, unlike the selection, he's solid and consistent and usually runs his race. Free Range brings similar credentials to the table and merits respect along with Dartford Warbler, rated 5lb lower over fences than hurdles and also partnered by a useful 5lb conditional. He could well emerge as the main danger off his light weight. Militarian has claims too on his best form.
