        Verdict

        This ultra-competitive Grade 1 contest entitles automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Mile. The local horse River Boyne is looking to go one better than last year and arrives on the back of a Grade 1 success over track and trip with Next Shares and True Valour behind. But he’s drawn wide today while this also sees the return of last year’s Preakness hero War Of Will, who is preferred to stablemate March To The Arch though has yet to win in four outings on Turf. Chad Brown has few peers in these Turf contests and Raging Bull has won at the highest level in the past while stable companion WITHOUT PAROLE (NAP) failed to stay the longer trip in the Pegasus at Gulfstream last time. But John Gosden’s former charge finished third in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Mile here and has leading claims if running up to the same level today.
