How interesting to see Aidan O'Brien's former Group and Listed performer, Banyan Tree, dropping into claiming grade. He landed a modest novice hurdle back in July but hardly appeals as the doughtiest of battlers and is passed over. Numen is altogether more consistent, having rattled up a quick ground hat-trick and didn't do too badly behind Platinum in a similar C&D contest last time. However, time to give RAVI RIVER another chance for the in-form Ellison team after two acceptable if ordinary efforts over timber this term. They may be more to come and weight is received from the aforementioned pair. Aviso ran well on the level five days ago whilst money for hurdling debutant Dawn Gold should be noted.
