CASTLE CONFLICT was first past the post over a longer trip at Towcester last month but lost the race in the stewards' room. Henry Daly's stable is in good form and compensation awaits here for his seven-year-old, who has already won twice between the flags on soft ground in Ireland. Sawpit Samba was well beaten on his hurdling debut at Bangor but hinted at ability and should step up on that effort here. He makes more appeal than Savant Bleu, who has disappointed so far over timber, and Pampanito and Edlomond who were both pulled up last time.
