MACANDLES made a promising return to action in this grade over 6f last week. The extra quarter-mile is very much in his favour and he could be a bit of value against likely favourite Hyper Drive, who finished second twice here last month but didn’t look like winning on either occasion. However, he did beat Air Assault over a mile at Remington Park in the autumn. Rain Ray’s stamina is suspect and he ran poorly here a week ago while Shawnee Kid may need another run to put him straight.
