Verdict

THE VISITOR made a promising debut over 1m3f here a fortnight ago so it was a surprise to see him dropping back to 7f last week. He had no answer to Dusty In Memphis but should be better suited by the extra furlong and should take this very moderate affair. Maraglen has very little to recommend her having been running poorly in handicaps while Westerners Son hasn't shown a glimmer of ability over hurdles. It's dificult to work up much enthusiasm for the newcomers though Kavaco is the second foal of a mare who has produced a winner and could be the best of them.
