Pat Eddery's colt looks set to finally lose his maiden tag dropped in class today. Desert Creek ran out a clear-cut winner of an amateurs' race at Leicester last time but is 9lb higher while Kingswinford went close on the Polytrack on Tuesday but finished well behind the selection before that. Elijah Pepper has his first start for a new yard after landing a claimer at Wolverhampton and Sabratha is up 8lb for her win in heavy going at Ayr. Fama Mac has been in good form in testing ground of late but over sprint trips and will be hoping for rain.
